PCA offers training courses in the design of virtually all types of turbomachinery,
including compressors, turbines, fans, and pumps. Each training course is based on a well-established core content customised to the individual needs of you the client, in terms of both subject coverage and course duration.
A typical course format comprises fundamentals, preliminary design, performance prediction, geometry modelling, thoughflow, and CFD analysis. Whilst the emphasis is on aerodynamic design, stressing and vibration analysis is also covered, at any level from fundamentals up to detailed instruction on finite element analysis of key mechanical turbomachinery components, interaction with the aerodynamic design, and so on.
- The course facilitators have long experience in turbomachinery design both in former postions in industry and at PCA.
- The course content is based on well-developed core material tailored to suit the individual needs of the client
- Excellent handout docuemtation is provided
- Courses are presented over a one to three day period, for up to five people.
