We are delighted to announce a major new release of Vista CCD v2.6.
Vista CCD (see software page) is PCA's highly developed centrifugal compressor preliminary design tool or ‘sizing tool'. Version 2.6, released on 27 September 2007, is the first release of the code to include real gas capability, and so will be of direct application to, for example, refrigeration compressors.
Vista CCD v2-6 incorporates all the features of
its successful predecessors, including inbuilt efficiency correlations,
automatic inducer optimisation, choke flow estimation, and many more. It is an invaluable tool for centrifugal
compressor design.
