ASME Best Paper award for Mick Casey

Prof. Michael Casey of PCA Engineers Limited has been awarded one of the prestigious Best Paper Awards for the paper he presented at ASME Turbo Expo 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany. This award is an opportunity for the ASME technical committees to recognise outstanding technical papers, to acknowledge the author's contributions to the turbine industry, and to support and maintain the high quality of papers presented by each Committee. The paper was co-authored with Dr Daniel Rusch of ABB Turbo Systems Ltd and entitled "The Matching of a Vaned Diffuser With a Radial Compressor Impeller and Its Effect on the Stage Performance". The award will be presented during the Turbomachinery Committee meeting  being held on Tuesday, June 16, 6:00 - 7:30 PM, Palais Room 517B.  at the ASME Turbo Expo 2015 -  June 15-19 in Montreal, Canada at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.

 

The paper has recently been published in the ASME Tubomachinery Journal (http://proceedings.asmedigitalcollection.asme.org/proceeding.aspx?articleid=1907615).
